Imputation Managed Funds

Franking credits are not limited to shares alone - even managed funds can get access to these franking credits. I am talking about ‘Imputation Managed Funds’. These funds only invest in Australian shares that have a history of giving 100% franked dividends. The franked credits that are thus obtained by the fund are passed on to the investor. The investor then uses these credits as an offset.

There are many imputation funds in the market - example - BT Imputation Fund, Coloinal First State Imputation Fund etc.
