Making Money Seminar Scam
By Sandy Naidu | September 21, 2009
Last night in my mail box (snail mail not email), I received a glossy invitation to a real estate seminar - a seminar that promised to make me one wealthy woman. The seminar was going to be held in the conference room of a classy hotel. The product that they were promoting was endorsed by a well known celebrity. So all good news, right - I should book my seat and run to this seminar - and btw another bonus was that the seminar was totally free.

This is one of such seminars. Most of us would have received such invitations. Here is my suggestion on how to deal with such invites: |
Read, laugh and chuck it in the bin OR just chuck straight in the bin.
There is no shortcut to riches. Hard work, smart saving and smart investments are the only three ways to riches. If there were shortcuts then we would all be rich. And also remember that there are no free lunches. There is a reason why the seminar is free. The hosts are not planning to make money from the seminar but from the product that they are planning to sell at the seminar. And these guys are usually excellent salesmen - so even if you go there deciding that you will not be signing up for anything, they will convince you to do so.
Don’t think they are selling a genuine product just because they have a celebrity backing them. We have had many examples of products endorsed by famous people collapsing - Dawn Fraser endorsing Money For Living scheme.
So be careful and remember there are no shortcuts…..

I have found a number of affiliate opportunities, but most of them have hidden costs, such as monthly fees and so forth. I am willing to invest my time, but I don’t have any money. What do you know about programs out there that will help me to start making money, that would be really free ?
